If you are curious, here is a blog post: How to Gallery-Wrap Textile Paintings.
Abstract art includes an openness of interpretation. Your view of the work and your experience complete it.
My abstracts are original paintings on silk or cotton, then stitched by hand or machine to add tactile values and textures that your hands will love to touch.
Abstract textile paintings are usually gallery-wrapped on wooden stretchers, ready to hang. Occasionally, they are tapestry-style wall hangings. This is indicated when you click the image for more details.
The abstract textile paintings on this page are for sale.
Because they are originals, they each have a PayPal button attached which allows you to enter your credit card and shipping information. (There is no shopping cart because each sale is unique, as each piece is unique.) Please call +1.530.692-9012 to chat with the artist.
When I cannot ship a piece right away, I’m removing the PayPal button to avoid confusion. If a piece is currently traveling or submitted to an exhibition, it is still for sale, but can only be received at the end of the journey.

This group of textile paintings (see below 38 - 41) is inspired by science and technology, more precisely by the spiraling nature of genomes in DNA. Here they enhance a narrow hallway.

In this video, I'm demonstrating spinning very textural silk yarn for the paintings on silk.
