Looking out the Window

Coming to Rome for two months is a luxury that allows us to relax, look out the window, just meander around ....

Looking out the window at Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina.

And here are a few snapshots from wandering around the historic center of Rome: Piazza Novona early in the morning.

Another view of Piazza Navona with the Agonalis obelisk on the right.

Notice how many Egyptian obelisks there are: - the Macuteo obelisk in Piazza della Rotonda, in front of the Pantheon

- the Solare obelisk in Piazza di Montecitorio

There is a spot in Piazza di Spagna where you can see two obelisks at the same time:

the Flaminio obelisk in Piazza del Popolo and

the Sallustiano obelisk in Trinita dei Monti

Time for a coffee break
